Description

The "M" is the closest drive for climbing in Bozeman and has some good short climbs. Climbing here can be done year round and can be quite good. A little too short for some people's taste, The "M" is still an attraction.

Getting There

From downtown Bozeman drive north on Rouse for about five miles and park at the well-known "M" trailhead.

Walk the trail, staying to the lower left-hand fork. Follow the mellow trail northwest past a big switch back that locates you at the top of the cliff. Walk down to the climbs.
