The King is Dead follows left arete. King Dinosaur...
Add Photo Printer View
Description Get creative on both sides of the arete and follow it all the way to the good stuff! Fun and interesting moves with tight body tension.
Location Near the main Lizards Mouth area, a few feet left of King Dinosaur.
Protection Pad, spotter. Awkward rock below the landing, but with a pad and spot you are fine.

| I was at the mouth yesterday and climbed a left variation of King Dyno. It’s somewhat contrived and scary but it has fun movement. I stared with my left hand in the pocket on the left arete and my right hand on a crimp. Is this The King is Dead? |

| Sounds like it Itai (except I start right hand pocket, left crimp, either way though). I actually almost like this one more than King Dino, mainly because I love that rippling arete feature (kind of like an overhanging 'Breathless'). Added a couple photos (thanks, Luke) |
