Description
This area is east of the Zebra Cliffs and best approached from Live Oak area. Hike south about 1 mile.
Getting There
Park at Live Oak and hike south about 1 mile. You can see the formations from the parking lot. Hike out past the Whispering Wall (which will be on your right), and then down into a wash/gully.....find your way out (I usually angle a bit to the left)..it's a bit tricky....and then you are on the flats again....keep heading south. Soon you will come to a small lump of rock;...this is where the Fugly is (So. face). By now, you are almost to the Hen House. You will know you are at the right place if you see all sorts of cool big boulders, pointed spires, and no people. You have arrived. The hike takes about 20 minutes.
