Description Suggest change

Boulders from house sized to car sized litter this dry wash. Two concentrations of boulders on the way up exsist with the second being the bigger. Most rock needs alot of cleaning from years of neglect and abuse from old floods. Lots of first ascents await here just be careful of your actions and please respect the area.

Getting There Suggest change

After driving down the huge hill down into the canyon, pull into the first parking lot on your left. This is extra parking for the amphitheater and could be full when performances occur. Walk down the Nature trail at the NE corner of the parking lot. You will then cross the river and take an immediate left into a dry wash. Half a mile up is your first concentration of boulders and half a mile after that is the second which is just under the cliffs. The cliffs offer some nice roped climbing as well.

PS - A very cool slot cliff area is located at the very end of the wash on top of the cliffs where a fixed rope is from former hikers. It also was an inspiration in the naming of the area.
