    Description 

    This area has shaded problems when the sun is out. Classic problems abound from V2 - V12. Some of them include: The Vulgarian (V2), Fight or Flight (V4), Walrus in a Blender (V5), The Hunger Artist aka Alf in a Blender (V6), New Religion (V7), and The Full Monty (V12).


    Getting There 

    From The Maze proper the Gunks are across the small meadow (walking further into the Spur), and up the hill towards the left. As this area involves some scrambling. It is better to consult the guide for step by step directions.

    Very striking line up the steep corner with a finger crack to a moderately difficult but quite high top out onto a slab. The only real line on the wall.Get your right hand as high in the corner as you can and stand up. Arrange your feet into some sort of a wide stem and pull up as high as you can. There is a sloping edge a bit below where the crack actually opens up that you can pause on to readjust your feet or just bump off of. Claw for where the crack opens. Then get your feet up and match.
