Description

The obvious 3-foot wide chimney that is sometimes a fun, mixed ice climb. Can be loose and vegetated.

Pitch 1: Climb the chimney, then pass through a ceiling at a notch. Belay.

Pitch 2: Ascend a left facing corner, traverse right, then up and left through the clean ceiling at a crack.

Bring extra webbing since there may not be a solid rappel station. Plenty of good trees at the top though.

Location

60 feet left of the Cat Wall. (5 minute hike from the top of the main approach trail.)

Protection

Standard rack of cams and stoppers. Nothing fancy.

Ok climbing with decent pro and stances. Pull through the notch and it's 20 feet of loose fourth class with no protection until a rap tree.
