Description Suggest change

A pleasant cliff face up in the trees above the valley, with nice views on a sunny day. The rock is schist. Most people go there to sport climb, but gear placements are available.

Getting There Suggest change

From Edinburgh or Glasgow, head towards Perth and the A9 to Pitlochry. Just before reaching Pitlochry, take the exit for the A827, following the Tay River. The A827 exits right off the A9. Follow signs to Weem, or head towards Aberfeldy, then to weem. Either way is a very nice rural drive. Once in Weem, follow the B846 towards Castle Menzies, and park in the Weem Forest carpark.
Walk up the trails taking options that continue up past several carved logs and features. When you find a carved seat, look for a faint trail up the hill. The cliff face is just a short distance above.
