Description

Slap up the overhanging arete on generally very good rock and fun moves to a gnarly, overhanging, mantle finish. I had always wanted to do this route and finally got around to it. It is short but fun.

Location

On the far left side of Peg Leg Wall, The Flamed, The Pumped, The French climbs the obvious, overhanging arete and west face of a block.

Protection

5 bolts and anchors. One of the bolts is located such that standard-sized draws will leave the rope-end biner directly over a ledge. A long draw might help here.

I thought this was a D'Antonio route, circa 1987. I know we got on it close to '87 when he was doing a lot of these.

Could very well be, and the name is something he would come up with. Man, he climbed (and still climbs...) a LOT of routes.
