From the Needles Eye parking lot looking south (to the right of the tunnel) you will see a formation whose profile looks somewhat like a sea fan.

Getting There 

Park in the Needles Eye lot, walk toward the tunnel and head right and through the notch. Down and to your right (about 50 feet?)you will see the ridgeline of The Fan.

The Moonlight Rib is the ridgeline you see after coming through the notch from the parking lot and looking down to your right. (The Northeast side of the formation.)You will see some crystals which lead up to a ledge.
