Hi i am planning a trip to El Chonta in mexico but i haven't found anyone to travel with. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the scene is like? How hard would it be to find a climbing partner down there?

Best to find partners here at the EPC then head south. Chonta is remote, DF climbers show up on weekends. That's about it..... There is a guy here with a van looking for a rider to Chonta.
Good luck!

Like I said. Best to find a partner here at the EPC! There are a few people that want to head down in January...... So if you want to meet people get down here and meet people. We are leaving after New Years for Oaxaca, might hit Chonta again but with the new Mexico guide books there is heaps of new crags to explore!
