This rock is a good hour hike/scramble from the Wonderland Parking Area. Worth the time to climb if in the area. This and other far flung Wonderland destinations are probably better done as a short backpacking trip on a weekend instead of a day hike.

This crag, or any Wonderland crag, can easily be climbed in a day trip. There is a really good Bighorn sheep study going on in the Wonderland and it is therefore illegal to camp there. One of the controls of the study involves keeping humans out of the area at night.

Ryan - the routes in this portion of the Wonderland are perhaps more easily done as a weekend backpack trip, however the Wonderland is designated as day-use only. Spend the time to learn the terrain and more importantly - hike faster!
