A very good, challenging route on the east face of the Coop. Start in the wide V shaped slot near the middle of the face. Clip a bolt, then head up and right in the main crack until a thin, discontinuous crack leads straight upward. Follow this crack until you reach a bulge with a bolt. When you are at the top of this tower, watch out for bees. I had a bee sting my right in the forehead. There is a hive in a different tower at the same height (just slightly south and uphill) and bees like to go to places in straight lines, so you may end up being in the line of fire.

No bees yesterday while Hanna and I spent a lovely and peaceful afternoon on this most excellent formation. Had forgotten how much I loved LDE and the new route in from the east is a fun way to get here. Cold out of the sun, though!
