The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The Castle is a small crag with 2 crack routes: The Knight In Shining Armor (5.11b) and Warrior Eagle (5.12b). It is a smallish block, perched on a rubble pile southwest of the Crystal Quarry, Tombstone, etc.

Getting There

Park at Uncle Willy's and take the main wash through the south Wonderland. Continue north past the Podium, and angle slightly right across a large open area that separates the north and south Wonderland.
