Description Suggest change

Small climbing area in a canyon just North of the Island in the Sky. Morning and evening shade. Currently there are only two routes here, one sport, one trad. Trad route (Bat's Meow) is the start of some local guided canyoneering adventures.
Easy approach and nice clearing at the base of the climbs make this a good area to bring spectators or kids.

Getting There Suggest change

From the main Snow Canyon road, park in the lot just North of the Island in the Sky before you get to the campground entrance. There is a small wood post 50' or so North of the parking lot marking the trail. Follow the trail East to the small canyon. As you approach, the Island in the Sky is the right wall of the canyon.
Easy 5 minute walk on a sandy trail. There is a small clearing a few hundred feet into the canyon where the climbs are, on your left.
