The north and east sides of the Boxtop have a number of bolted, gear, and mixed (bolt and gear) routes. Most of these routes have good shade in the afternoon.
The Boxtop is in the Circle Creek Basin-South. The most direct way to get to The Boxtop is by starting at the Boxtop Trailhead and head north, cross South Creek and continue north past the trail junction to the turnoff for the Boxtop (trail to the right).
