The main draw here is The Boulder's crimpy holds on the sheer east face, but you can still have fun climbing the flakes on the southeast arete, or move to more positive holds on the northeast arete if your fingers start to fry.

The landings here are pretty flat, but use a spotter to keep you out of the bushes.

Getting There 

This boulder is just west of Mongoose Block and just northwest of the Arch Boulder.

This problem is described in the AC comment to the main page, but it's confusing now that there are more than two photos. Walk uphill from Mongoose, find the slightly overhanging east face with a bad landing. The lower you start the harder. Side-pull and crimp until you can throw for the nice sloping ledge right below the top of the boulder. Also, a V1 takes the line to the right of the bad landing, and the south face has some fun V2 ish moves on a steeper overhang....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
