This is a small rib or fin of rock that lies just NE of The Fin. It sports about 3 routes, G.B.H. 5.11b R; Bladerunner, 5th class TR; and Jabba, 5.4 R. It is probably not worth much attention, but it is provided here for organizational clarity.

For the purposes of brevity, the small rib between The Blade and Long Wall, depicted on p. 227 of Gillett's excellent Estes Park Valley half of the Rocky Mountain National Park, The Climber's Guide, and its route(s) will be contained under this single category until outcry exceeds tolerance.

Getting There

Hike from Lily Lake up to The Fin. Go around the corner/arete with Edge of Time. The small ribs/fins appear just to your left.

It is somewhat reminiscent of the Three Graces route in Garden of the Gods but not as high in quality. Nonetheless, it may be worth a romp for the adventuresome. The start of the climb is close to Your Possible Pasts, near a tree. The crux moves are close to the ground. You can loop a horn with a sling. Near the crest, you can use a longer than 48" slin...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
