Description
Located in the Mormon Mountains, the Ballin' Alley is one of a few stellar limestone caves in and around this region offering excellent climbing in a high desert setting. The crag is shady all day due to its location, with often very windy conditions. Although the routes are few at this time, the secluded location and quality of the lines currently bolted makes for a nice experience.
Getting There
20 minutes outside of Mesquite on I-15 towards Las Vegas. Pull off at the truck rest area on the right and follow the road parallel to I-15 until it veers off north becoming a dirt road. Take the dirt road in, about 20 minutes down the road, staying left/straight until the road dead ends. Walk up the hill on your left and look for the cairns marking the designated path.
