No vehicle access, but open to foot traffic MORE INFO >>> Washington Climbers Coalition's permittee status under the landowner's easement with Washington State DNR has been revoked due to liability concerns and increased traffic. Vehicular access beyond the gate is currently not allowed. Gold Bar is still open to foot traffic. WCC and Access Fund are actively working with the landowner and DNR to find a solution. Description 

Short, blocky, sloping arete. Start matched on big blocky hold and go up to the pinch, bring you feet up and head for the top. Looks easier than it is.

Location 

About 30 meters above the Obelisk boulder and 10-15 meters to the east. Directly below Jer-Bears Hug. Route faces west.

Protection 

good landing. One pad
