Headed to Tonsai and plan on doing a few multipitch climbs. I'm bringing a 70 meter. Do I need another rope to safely rap?

Thanks,
Joe

Sometimes, but if you're going alone don't take two ropes. Anyone that you'd want to climb with will have one and if not, you can borrow/rent one. Two ropes is nice on some routes, a pain on others, and essential on maybe 10-20% of multi-pitch routes.

Thanks for the help. Looks like I'll just take one rope and find another if needed. Super excited to climb in such an awesome setting.

Cheers,
Joe
