| Headed to Tonsai and plan on doing a few multipitch climbs. I'm bringing a 70 meter. Do I need another rope to safely rap? Thanks, Joe | FLAG |

| Sometimes, but if you're going alone don't take two ropes. Anyone that you'd want to climb with will have one and if not, you can borrow/rent one. Two ropes is nice on some routes, a pain on others, and essential on maybe 10-20% of multi-pitch routes. | FLAG |

| Thanks for the help. Looks like I'll just take one rope and find another if needed. Super excited to climb in such an awesome setting. Cheers, Joe | FLAG |
