Description Suggest change

Climb the pillar! Good steep ice - if it was longer this would be one of the best ice routes in the USA, but great even so. The vertical section is usually only about 40 feet long as the first 10 feet is typically an easy pedestal.

Protection Suggest change

Often chandeliered, so it is an interesting lead.

A weird hard scramble well to the right of the pillar gains the rim. Plenty of trees and possibly chains (haven't been up there for a while) to TR from.
