Jeff on Tepid Hummus in crazy wind! To the right y...

Description

At the right side of the slabby wall directly across from the restrooms, look for a bolt line just before the rock get overhung. Climb up and right past a few bulges (crux at upper bulge) on good holds. Don't forget directionals for seconding climbers. From the top anchor, it is possible to top-rope the San Juan Snake, a harder (5.10?) overhung line to the right.

Location

This is about 50 feet from the restrooms on the right side of the slabby wall.

Protection

5 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor.

I climbed this yesterday, and the left anchor bolt was spinning in the rock. Super sketchy!

Adele, FYI I've tested that spinner bolt several times. It's bomber, and it's not coming out. Lower in confidence.
