Description

Temple area is the easiest to find among the climbing areas in Badami. The exposure is spectacular for some of the routes. Climbing is technical with mostly slopers or crimps for holds. Look out for missing bolts.

Getting There

Head south from Badami bus stand for 1 km to reach a big gate on the left. You can see a huge water tank from here. The trail starts here. Keep to the left of the water tank to reach some stairs leading all the way to the temple.
