DescriptionThese towers are located just South of the first piece of the Fourth Flatiron. There are two towers: the Lower Tangen Tower is the closest to the trail, the Upper tower is due West of the lower. Getting ThereFollow the Royal Arch trail past Sentinel pass and the Fourth Flatiron. The trail goes through some rocks and boulders as you cross the spring. The small tower after the spring is the Lower Tangen. To reach the upper Tangen tower, climb the Tangen Tunnel route (see description) or the Lower Tower or hike past the Lower Tower and hike West following its south side to the saddle between the two towers.
