The Tall Cliffs provide some taller routes at the Black Cliffs. Most routes in this area are 5.10 and up. The cliffs are usually in the sun.

Getting There

Take Highway 21 to the Lucky Peak Recreation area parking lot and turn around and drive out of lucky peak. Park in the big gravel parking lot on your right or pull into the damn parking lot and drive on the gravel trail to the big parking lot. Park and take the trail to the right to reach the Tall Cliffs.

Climbing the lower section of Circumciser

Circumciser 5.10b 6a+ 19 VII- E2 5b  ID : Black Cliffs : Tall Cliffs
Climb this basalt column to the top. I find the crux to be the top part of the climb while others find it to be the bottom part of the climb. The route is well protected and fun!...[more]   Browse More Classics in ID
