Anyone have an update on crag accessibility? Donner, Big Chief, ect. Getting mixed reports on how much snow is up there from non-climbing friends.

Snow accumulation is pretty light, at least in my latest drive from Reno to Sacramento and back via I-80. Black Wall at Donner looked to be prime conditions, not much snow at all leading up there. I'm guessing you could find a lot of climbing, depending on the aspect and weather conditions right now.

Everything is climbable along the Hwy 50 corridor, including Lover's Leap. The road to Big Cheese may be closed, so if you have to hike up from the bottom, just knock on a door and ask permission. Homeowner's are very appreciative of this effort and usually say, "sure, have fun".

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
