Possibly the most classic route on Table Mountain. Whenever I meet a South African trad climber they always ask me if I have climbed Jacobs. This route is a great introduction to the exposed traverses typical of Table Mountain.Approach:Hike to the far left-hand end of Staircase Ledge. You will have to hike around or over a large boulder and then step down onto a tree.
