After years of loyal service my North Face Cat's Meow has finally gave up the ghost and looks as flat as a pancake. I checked out the newer NF Cat's Meow and they've switched to their Heetseeker insulation which I find is not as warm as the Climashield Prism that my old bag used.
I'm looking for any recommendations on a quality synthetic bag in the 10-20 degree range.
i have a synthetic from integral designs...works well and is light and compressible. Montbell has some nice ones...but honestly i'd go down.
I stayed away because i have down allergies but havent had problems with my down jacket. Check out BPL for light weight stuff...tons of options out on the market. Quilts are the latest rage and for good reason (light and more functional). look at CLO values for comparing insulations

I own several down sleeping bags, Marmot Helium, Lithium and Col Membrain. While they're nice I prefer synthetics for an every/any where bag. A lot less thinking/maintenance involved when I'm out and about.
Those Montbell Burrow bags might be the ticket. Anyone have any experience with them??
