|Sand Point Road to Miners Castle
This is a pillar that forms (occasionally with bat-wings on one or both sides) just to the north of the Lakeshore trail. Not aware of an easy approach to the bottom (or walk off) - it is probably best to rap in from the anchors and climb out. Makes a good half-day of climbing, with several variations possible.
Take the Lakeshore Trail from the Sand Point parking lot and follow it for a couple miles to this flow. Along the way, you will go up some icy steps not quite half way out - follow the trail hugging the bluff tops. Keep an eye out for drainage crossing the trail - it's the first big flow in the area, just before a wooden bridge.
Trees near the top can be slung for TR - take some long (20') webbing/cordelette. Lead with 3-6 screws.
