Thanks for the Jaws pictures Olaf.... are they gonna hold a contest there this year? If so I'm sure you'll be there for us...
Is that top picture of the Country (on page 4) "WM's"? Those look like some decent little short cracks back there if they dry out in the summer, yea? I remember some rock like that over on "that side"... near the blow hole and stuff.
How about Lower Nahiku, at the landing there. Ever check that out on the huge swells... I neva like chance um when I saw it, but since Jaws has become a paddle in spot I wondered if that break gets surfed now....

I really don't know what spot the country boy image was taken at.
Realistically climbing does exist here on Maui and probably a fair
amount of it.

| I went to the site but am still unclear: did the comp take place this year yet? I saw it go off almost a decade ago and found it so cool that the entire North Shore was shut down because the highway was literally a parking lot for miles.
Good stuff. This thread has always reminded me of my life when I was surfing 6 days a week at breaks like Ehukais and Ali`is. Enjoy! |

| | 9 year old Axel Rosenblad initially threw up on the trail, heading out for his first heat. He was that nervous. He obviously overcame that fear very quickly! One of the major stand outs of the day! Good job little grom!
