An absolutely super little tower in a super location with super views. the route has morning shade and afternoon sun. NO crowds and although close to the road, feels very secluded. the rock quality is good. the climb is... well, yes, you guessed it, SUPER!

Getting There

though not technically in day canyon, this tower is usually associated with it, being located just right of the mouth of that canyon. the tower actually sits at the mouth, on the left side, of an improbable looking box canyon, a couple 100 yards up river from day canyon. hike the wash of that canyon and cut up left at the first slabs. one 4th class move gains a ledge that skirts the cliff. once on the rim, head over to the tower. an enjoyable 30 minutes.

Climbing Season

For the Day Canyon area.
