My wife is interested in getting outside for the first time tomorrow in BoCo. I have not climbed there in a while, looking for suggestions on wall choices. Looking for something with a few very easy routes (5.7-5.8) for her to climb, and a few good 5.9-5.10b routes for me to climb. Wall needs good afternoon sun. Short approach is a bonus, as my wife is not always keep on long approaches.

Also, I don't want to go to the Riveria. Cause it sucks.

Thanks!

Happy Hour, Bihedral, Animal World, maybe Blob... Any of those should be sunny and offer a good selection of routes! And I believe the Sport Park gets good afternoon sun as well. Have fun!

Gregory canyon ampitheater if you have trad gear or want to toprope; make sure to get there before late afternoon though. Raptors in Cellophane (bolted/trad 5.9+) is on the backside.

Umbrella tree is at a great location. The bottom part of the wall is a little more moderate climbing, but after you reach a ledge halfway up its super fun and easy.

It might be a bit late. But Solaris has great winter/afternoon sun. Routes range from 5.6-10b in one section of the wall.

The lower wall has two routes that are fair beginner friendly.

I was up there about 9 days ago. It was great!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
