| (disclaimer: I don't have a clue how to set up a website, so I have no idea if this is possible) It would be nice to be able to further sort the "What's new in favorites" feature. Maybe there are ways around this, but one of the things I commonly do on MP is click the "What's new in favorites" and check out the recent FAs, routes, comments, etc in my home areas. MP is so big now that I greatly appreciate the ability to be able to filter down the What's New to particular areas. It would be nice to be able to filter the results by route type (trad, sport, boulder, etc) as well. Using my own biases as an example, I would prefer to filter out the bouldering. (Before anyone starts flaming here, I'm NOT saying bouldering shouldn't be on MP, just that it's not something I'm interested in keeping up with). How about a row of check boxes that would allow you to toggle on or off the different route types you want to see? Maybe there would be an "all types" box that would be cheked by default. It would be cool if your choices could be saved as one of your preferences, but with check boxes it wouldn't be a big deal to adjust every time you logged in if that were hard to set up. I love the site, and appreciate all the hard work the admins do to keep it running. This feature isn't a big deal, but it seems you folks like finding ways to tweak the site to improve it, so I thought I'd throw the idea out. Thanks, -Rich | FLAG |
