I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this type of injury. If so what was done to rehab the problem and how long did it take to heal back to full strength.

Thanks,

Alison

Alison,

Not sure if you're still looking for info. I had a nerve compression issue in my left trap a couple of years back that made it so that I could barely lift my arm, and caused some serious muscle atrophy. It took about 2 to 3 months for the nerve to come back. It was caused by having a heavily-weighted gear sling on my shoulder for about 18 hours, while dehydrated and fatigued.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you want more info.

This sounds similar to what I was told about my shoulder. Doc recommended I go get a nerve test and possibly an MRI. Any one had a similar injury?
