Stone Mountain NC -- how quickly does it dry out?

Need to feed on some multipitch slab, looking to head out this weekend but I am worried about the rain predicted Thursday-Friday morning. A couple sources forecast gusty winds + becoming sunny Friday afternoon, any chance it'll be dry Saturday first thing?

For specificity, we're looking to get on No Alternative and the Great Arch.

Thanks!

I think you should be good to go. The arch might be a little seepy until the sun hits it.

Like more of the granite domes in NC they dry out quickly unless there is some vegetation above, which at stone sits a good bit back. Last pitch of no alternative might have a few damp spots, so becarefull cause there is no gear on that pitch too even if it is 5.4

I second what rock_fencer said.

The above is mostly correct. However, there are a couple of spots that stay wet for a while, like the upper pitches of the Pulpit, Grand Funk, and Fantastic.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
