Description "Stinger" (5.9) is located in the Grotto between Slammer and Lowrider. Follows the steep left trending ramp and face to a headwall crux. Numerous edges and pockets throughout. Instantly popular moderate that is in the shade all day.
Location The Grotto, between Slammer (5.10b) and Lowrider (5.10b). Rappell from a 2-ring anchor.
Protection 4 bolts and 2-ring Fixe anchor.

| Stinger is varied and fun. There is an initial ramp section leading to stemming, a backstep on the left arete, some pockets, and a steep headwall. You won't get bored on this one. Well protected and nice rock. There is always someone on either "Stinger" or the climb just to the right "Lowrider." Nice shady Grotto location. |
