The start

Description On the far right side of the downhill side of the sap boulder start sitting on the double arete and climb to the top. The mantle is a little slopey. Fun.
Location On the flux boulder. Hike up the ccc trail and once you reach the cliff band before the final up hill section to the flatiron head left into the talus and downhill a little. There is a large sappy pinetree above this boulder and it provides nice shade.
Protection A couple pads, good landing

| This problem has been done previously. Eric Z did a sit down start starting deep in the pit. This boulder has been climbed for years and pretty well picked over. Some fun stuff for sure. The only problem I'm not sure has been done is start by what you call the classic route and move up and left. Eric Z worked it but not sure if he ever cleaned it up. |
