so has anyone been using or used the sterling fusion photon half ropes that are rated for twin?

I do own sterling single ropes and static lines, but i was hoping to hear from someone that has used these about managability and durability.

I just ordered a 30m for use as s ski mountaineering rope, and i was thinking I'll probably end up picking up two 60m or 70m's for ice climbing this year. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

I have them in 60m. I've used them for 2 seasons on ice and alpine. I love them. They pack down real small and weigh next to nothing. They are actually rated twin and half I'm not sure if that's what you were trying to say? That makes them versatile. If I was to go buy a new set I would get one photon fusion and one of their single/twin rated ropes not sure the name, but that would make a great pair.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
