Description

This small area to the right of Glacier Point Apron sports a couple of good TR/boulder problems and some obscure free and aid lines.

Getting There

This area lies almost directly behind the Raft Rental shed. Approach from the Curry wooden cabins. Find Cabin 73, walk around the right side and then straight up the hill, gaining a faint trail to the base of the wall.

This is one of the classic crack boulder problems in the Valley. Approximately 20' tall with a short approach, flat landing, and easy walk off, this slightly leaning splitter finger crack is great for honing your thin fingercrack technique. Mostly first knuckle locks. Usually bouldered, but you could rig a TR if desired....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
