Description

Whoa, total sandbag as 5.7 as listed in Sven's guidebook. Sven says to start the route right of the corner. Total crap idea. Start up Pearly Gate and traverse right to the corner and straight up. You can also bypass the crux of Pearly Gate by stepping back left onto the sloping ledge.

Location

Corner right of Pearly Gate.

Protection

TR or Trad. Only a brown tri-cam even remotely fit in the very flaring flake halfway up. Not sure if it would have taken a fall. All the gear in the upper half was iffy and the run out to the top was potentially deadly.
