Interaction with Guests

I am a ER nurse at the local hospital, and recovering vagabond travel gypsy. I am digging in.. I have found home and I want to share this space with the community. Ultimately building stronger community with ever guest.

I have stayed in lots of bed and breakfasts, hostels, monasteries, churches, back yards, and in dreaded hotels.. I always felt like I wanted to have a place for people to come and stay. This house is an extension of my compassion for the weary traveler, families that just need to get away, or adventure seekers looking for a good base camp! I love everything outside: rock climbing, kayaking, birding, hiking, paddle boarding, sailing and gardening. I am living a simple life on the property in a simple shed tiny home. The property has the main 1,200 square foot Peace House, and a 500 square foot shed that is where I sleep and eat. The property is almost an acre and is nestled on the sun filled eastern slope of the famous Lookout Mountain. The sunrise is spectacular. I welcome guest and hope you enjoy this unique property. I look forward to meeting like minded people who share a common bond with nature, adventure, local community, love, and most importantly spiritual truth. I have a small shed tiny home on site., and may stop by to grab a paddle board or camping gear.. Yet, I can stay offsite upon request. Come visit The Peace House stay in peace, and leave in truth.

Interaction with Guests

I am a ER nurse at the local hospital, and recovering vagabond travel climbing and surf gypsy. I am digging in.. I have found home and I want to share this space with the world. Ultimately building stronger community with ever guest.

I have lived most of my life in the Eastern Sierra 20 years.. I lived primarily in El Portal CA climbing in Yosemite daily, moved to Bishop, then Mammoth.. I have lived amongst Inspired Adventurers my whole life. I'm 42. I love climbers. I love people who follow their heart. I climb, surf, paddle board, skydive, sail, and ride my bike. I love photography and poetry.

I have traveled allot.. as most climbers, LIFERS, have.. I have been to most climbing areas of the US... I slept on the ground. I cooked in my Dodge Caravan.. I got a job grew up and started traveling a little easier.. a softer approach: I have stayed in tons of bed and breakfasts, international hostels, monasteries, churches, truck campers, VW vans, Toyota Sunraders, back yards, garages, and in dreaded hotels.. I always felt like I wanted to have a place for people to come and stay. This house is an extension of my compassion for the weary adventure traveler, families that just need to get away, or adventure seekers looking for a good base camp! The property has the main 1,200 square foot Peace House, and a 500 square foot shed that is where I sleep and eat. The shed is away from the main house. You will not be bothered by me..

The property is almost an acre and is nestled on the sun filled eastern slope of the famous Lookout Mountain. The house was built after the civil war. The house was built to rebuild this country, one farm at a time.. Now, i honor the past and share the gift of rest.
