Description

Recently established, FA's 2005, located near the small town of Salto. The crags are on both sides of the Sra do Salto River. Mostly exposed to the sun, very little shade or trees. Secluded, known by word of mouth, not in guide book for Portugal as of October 2009.

Getting There

From Porto, head east on A4 for about 10 kilometers. Take the Campo exit, turn right after about 200 meters. Follow the road for 5k towards Recarel. Follow the signs to Salto for another 5k. Once in Salto, follow the road that leads down towards the river. At the bottom there will be a church up on a small hill. Park at the bottom of the hill in the large dirt area.

There is seven different sections in this area. The first two are up the hill behind the church. Three through five are across the river along the road you drove in on the parking area. The six and seven are up the hill away from the church to the Southwest.
