Description

SR-1 could clean up into a nice vertical block with flat landings. The rock is friable in places, but mostly solid. I found chalk on half a dozen problems, with the easiest on the right. The high point top-out looks a bit intimidating at 15 to 20 ft. Someone has been playing on this block, but I haven't found any specific information anywhere.

Getting There

From the Saxon Road trailhead, continue right, following Saxon Road. The road is easily managed by bike or ORV. After half a mile and several switch-backs, SR-1 appears on the right, several yards from the road, with a rough climbers "trail" evident.

Richard,

I have been playing around the area for awhile and know some other people who have been to. Please contact me and we can collaborate. I would love to climb with you as I have done so many of your damn fine routes.
