Description

Named for the big split in the middle of the rock that forms the route Chim-Chiminey. All the routes on this formation are tightly bolted single pitch sport routes with easy access on and off the rock, making this area a good spot to stop and warm up, or a place to start learning the ropes of leading and further develop your skills and confidence.

Getting There

Immediately east of the main trail, high up near the Sugarloaf itself.

Split Rock west face slab routes. Both are 5.9-ish-ish, not too different from TriTip Split Roast. The right route is called Fossilmax; I haven't found the name of the left one yet.
