Speed Climbers???

Let me start of by saying I am a mere mortal. I'm no hardman. Leading 10's comfortably on gear currently. Been climbing for 16 years. Average level of fitness. No super athlete by any stretch of the imagination.

I really want to get better and aid/french free/free transitions, short-fixing, aiding quickly and any other speed climbing techniques to cover a lot of ground quickly. I'm not new to this stuff and have been playing around with various systems for a few years now. I have a few walls under my belt: Prodigal Son, Spaceshot (IAD), Touchstone Wall, RNWF Half Dome (IAD). Attempts on SF Washington Column and Moonlight.

Here's the deal. I currently don't have any climbing partners that are as interested in this as myself. I've roped a few folks into learning a few basic techniques but have had to do a lot of teaching. I've studied as much as I can online and in books (Speed Climbing - Hans Florine, etc..). So far I've been operating in a vacuum and really want to team up with some folks that have experience/interest in this stuff. It would be great to get out and see what other systems folks are using and discuss strategies. Be great to bounce some ideas around too.

I'm currently in the Front Range and work a very typical 8 to 5, M-F schedule right now. This summer I'll have every other Friday off as well. Hit me up if you are interested in getting out, sharing systems and getting some mileage in. After work and weekends are best.

Thanks in advance to any responders!!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
