Heading to stay at Bolan Fire Lookout tower for a few days next week.

Pretty much a deadzone on Mountain project for routes and bouldering.
Anyone have any experience way down in the Southwest part of Oregon between HWY 199 and the Coast?

We will be in the southern part of Siskiyou National Forest, right by Oregon/California border.

Check out Greg Olsons guide books for SW OR. The Callahans are great... a good hike in/up, but well worth it! Also, East of Roseburg, up the Umpqua River, there is some great climbing! I would not recomend the climbing on the coast due to corrosion and wind. Bolts may or may not be where they are supposed to be, or useable(?)! I worked last year in Powers, and there is nothing on the Coquille (Not sure what the previous reply is talking about). Rattlesnake Canyon out of Medford is Ok, and worth doing if you don't want to head further north. If you're in the area, go check out the Callahans!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
