| Wall St. on Potash Rd. is your best bet. There is the School Room that has easy top rope setups. Easy fifth class to 5.10. There is also a smattering of bolted routes up to 5.12 between the many crack climbs.
Unfortunately, the days of free camping around Moab are over.

| even though i recently moved to cedar city (very close to zion) I can help out much more with the moab questions.
Along with wall street there is also the ice cream parlor (kane creek road) which is across the river, but found further into town. Down toward the end of wall street you will find camping, I've never needed to because my brother lives right in town, but I know its there.
