I love Tallulah Gorge

Anybody know where to find the dates for the managed hunts at Prentice Cooper? I checked the SCC website, but they're not on there yet.

Trying to get a jump on planning some weekenders to God's Country this Fall.

Relaxing at the P1 belay of Fruit Loops at Rumbling Bald.

I'll see if I can't find out.

Are you going out west with Ben and the crew?

JL

UPDATE: Here's the hunt dates for fall 2008:

 • September 20-28
 • October 16-18
 • October 25-26
 • November 7-9
 • November 29 - December 4

I've updated the T-Wall information page with this information. More details can be found on the TN Department of Agriculture website.

Nah...Ben didn't invite the rest of us.

That, and there doin s'more multipitch slab out there and I'm DONE slabbin for awhile. After Big Green I'm lookin for somethin with some gear...and some holds...LOL.

Myself, Jody, et al are lookin at Linville next month while Ben is out there.

I wanna go ahead and pencil in a couple of T-Wall trips though...hence this inquiry about the closure dates.

Oh man, you ain't done slabbing. :)

Linville or Table Rock sounds good though, and T-Wall when it cools down some more.

Post climb snack...

If you were wondering, the guy is Strappo (could be my long lost brother according to one of my climbing partners), a famous British climber and madman.

The photo was taken in the Yosemite Lodge parking lot in 1982. Russ Walling took the photo. Strappo provided the bread.....

Only a huge goober would be done with slab after that trip...Big Green, Laurel Knob, The Woody Wall...only a slight drizzle, your new teefs are still in tact...I'm just getting started!

I freakin' love that slab! Jody knows what's up! Listen! Here is why:

Light Racks: you can't place it, so why carry it?
Less pumpy: Slab is NOT overhanging, so weak little people like me can get by on ballsiness and technique...make that "lack of braincells and Onyx Rubber with a strong propensity to over-gripped-ness"...

John...we may be needing Gunks trip beta for next year...
