I'm headed to the Bryson City, NC area for several days on a family trip and hoping to find a hidden crag or a few boulders. Anyone familiar with this area?

Haven't personally been there, always end up at Tsali. But I have a friend that used to work at the NOC and says there is definetly hidden bouldering. Don't know about any rope climbing there.
