Too reach Paydirt Pinnacle one should park at Sylvan Lake Parking Area. Approach via the trail on the west side of Sylvan Lake. A short distance before the dam a trail appears on the left. Follow the left fork onto the road and thru a road cut. As you approach the residence take a right onto the second trail (north/south aligned two track). The pinnacle on your right is Paydirt Pinnacle. The location will be verified by the presence of an old root cellar just right of the trail on the southwest corner of the formation. The approach time is about ten minutes.
